Aria Brampton wedding in the fall
Oh, Juanita and David……where do we begin. How we were blessed enough to come across these two shining souls is beyond us. But we are thankful. What an amazing wedding day. So much fun, and up for anything, even climbing a tree in a wedding dress! A day filled with the most genuine and contagious laughter, so much love and emotion and we got to be in the middle of it and were honoured to record it. The couple became husband and wife during a non denominational ceremony with unity candles while exchanging their own personal vows which brought tears to everyone’s eyes. We always love an intimate wedding and this did not disappoint. Good people and lots of emotion made for one special day. The small ceremony took place at the Aria Bistro and Lounge in Brampton which also happens to be one of Brampton’s best restaurants. A beautiful location that also served as a stunning reception venue. A nearby park served us well for photos as we braved the cold, windy weather. A fantastic meal and amazing atmosphere with phenomenal staff rounded out an amazing day!
David and Juanita have known each other for about 6 years as acquaintances. Juanita was set up on a blind date by Davids sister-in-law, also Juanita’s best friend Ashly, with a coworker of Ashly’s husband. During the blind date Ashly mentioned to Juanita that David has been asking about her. In fact when Ashly mentioned to David that she was setting Juanita up with another guy, he sent a text reading “Really Ashly?! I thought we were family!!” Knowing that David was interested in her, Juanita couldn’t stop thinking about David. The very next day Juanita and David along with Ashly and her husband Victor (who is David’s Brother) went on a double date. Juanita and David were inseparable ever since. Knowing that Juanita has a love for visual arts, they made plans to visit PAMA (art gallery of Brampton) and go for dinner for their one year anniversary. After passing the first exhibit at PAMA Juanita wondered to the next, bee-lining for the only canvas that was on a easel. After examining the painting of silhouettes of a man proposing to a woman with a sunrise behind them, she noticed that her sister painted in the very same style. As she turned to her sister to say “this looks like one of your paintings”, David was on one knee with a ring in hand and asked Juanita to marry him. She erupted with tears of joy and laughter from shock.
