Eaton Hall engagement photos – Michelle and Jonathan
We always love exploring new locations and discovering hidden gems in our area. And it seems like the Toronto and surrounding area is full of them. Few years ago I came across Eaton Hall Estate online and have been intrigued with this beautiful venue ever since. Finally a few months ago, as I searched for a place to hike in the Vaughan and King area, I remembered Eaton Hall. Eaton Hall is located in King Township and is a part of Seneca College King Campus. It’s a sprawling estate located on the Oak Ridges Moraine Trail featuring a historic French Chateau style house, a lake and beautiful forest trail. If you want to feel like you’ve been transformed back to the beginning of the 20th century, this is a perfect place.
We met Michelle and Jonathan after being referred by one of our former couples – Jessica and Tom. Since we’re huge believers that you are who you surround yourself with, we knew right away that these two would be absolutely great. We seem to share a lot of similar interests and values. When Michelle and Jonathan contacted us to schedule their engagement session we decided to recommend Eaton Hall. They were looking for a historic place with great architecture and an option for a more relaxed look. Since Jonathan proposed to Michelle on a hike we thought that this location may be absolutely perfect for our engagement shoot. Luckily they loved the suggestion and what it had to offer for their engagement photos. Their engagement session included two different looks. As we walked through the trails and the forest they wanted to incorporate a more relaxed look.
They saved the elegant look for the grounds of the Eaton Hall estate. Despite the mosquitos in the forest they were both easy going, relaxed and up for anything. The lake and the lake side stone patio with stone column pergola provide a perfect location for an outdoor wedding ceremony or just a unique photo location. And the stunning chateau style house just speaks for itself. We only wish we could explore inside. We were so thrilled to finally explore and utilize the grounds of this unique venue and we can’t wait to shoot an actual wedding in there. In the mean time we can’t wait for Michelle and Jonathan’s wedding this fall.
