Just over a week ago we got to capture this amazing couple’s special moments. We met Grace and her mom at one of the wedding shows and we made a special connection which led to this great couple choosing us to be their photographers. Our day started in Richmond Hill surrounded by family and friends of the bride and groom. Can we just say the Grace looked stunning in her Sarah Houston gown. She added her own personality wearing her crazy colorful socks and bedazzled converse shoes. Under this soft, lovely, and elegant facade she’s a rocker chic. Wow, we love finding out these cool little surprises about our clients through the whole experience. After the ceremony the whole bridal party went down to the Main Street in Unionville with the girls being great sports with great attitudes in the cold weather. We had to lend a jacket to Grace to keep her warm as we strolled the streets, but there was not one complaint from this bride. WOW. After another session at Richmond Green we proceeded to the reception at the Terrace Banquet Centre in Vaughan. The venue was beautiful with amazing food, top notch service, and the DJ with the MC kept the dance floor full and atmosphere up. Grace and Steve provided the guests with an engagement video we shot(our incredible videographers) during their engagement session (you can view their pictures here) to tell their love story as well as performers who danced a beautiful contemporary piece. The night was filled with some incredible dancers of all ages on that dance floor. I loved it. This was the first wedding where the guests where invited onto the dance floor during dinner. What a fantastic idea. It kept the night rolling without guests feeling bored while waiting for their next course.
Steven and I met 11 years ago at our first job, the local IGA supermarket, down the street from our houses. It took a while for me to warm up to him being so shy and all. And since then we haven’t been apart! Steven purposed to me while on vacation in Hawaii on my birthday! He’s a regular Romeo. We spent an amazing day at the beach and went for dinner where 4 ladies from Australia were harassing him for not purposing to me yet. Little did they know 30 minutes later we were by the beach and he purposed. The thing we are looking forward to the most on the wedding day is…… THE PARTY!!!!! And after starting our family! Our love is so special because we are truly each other’s best friend. We have been together since our teenage years and have grown up together and closer with every year that passes!
We love seeing couple’s reactions when we surprise them with their photos from the day. Thank you Grace and Steve for choosing us to be your photographers. Your comments on facebook, email, as well as being mentioned in your speech means so much to us. You are both incredible people and we wish you nothing but the best.
