Eglinton Grand wedding – Winter wedding of Francesca and Shawn
This glamorous winter wedding started with us spending the time with the groom and his groomsmen at his parents house. Shawn looked very suave in his Harry Rosen suit. Francesca has been so organized throughout the whole planning process and we were just blown away by her attention to detail. Both the bride and the groom took the time to write little letters to each other and exchange gifts prior to doing the reveal at Francesca ‘s parents’ house. When we arrived at the bride’s house we were welcomed by warmth and calmness despite all the people present. It’s always a sign of a good day to come. Francesca looked like a fairy tale princess in her stunning gown. I loved everything about all of her attire for the day to the very last detail she chose. As I’m sitting here in Las Vegas working on this blog I am constantly blown away about how stunning of a bride she was. I loved witnessing this couple’s chemistry as their love for each other was so evident. We only wished that we didn’t feel as cold (temperature wise) as we loved photographing this couple outdoors. After their first look and a short outdoor photo session the couple got a bit of a surprise with releasing of the doves. I just love their expressions in their pictures.
Their intimate wedding ceremony was filled with laughter and took place at the Eglinton Grand. The couple included the breaking of the glass to signify the importance of their vows to each other. The reception followed up shortly after with the reveal to the guest overlooking Shawn and Francesca’s first dance. After a delicious dinner the party started with the horrah and the celebrations included, late night food table, photo and video booths, and great dancing. Thank you Francesca and Shawn for choosing us. We’ve had a blast with you through this whole experience so far. Thank you to your wonderful families for being so warm and welcoming. We can’t wait to see you soon. In the mean time please feel free to SHARE the link (this blog)/ LIKE and comment below and let the couple and us know what you think.
Here is a little bit about the couple in bride’s words.
How we met: We met online and from the first day we began to talk, we haven’t gone a day without speaking. Immediately we had a strong connection and would spend hours on the phone together.
The proposal: Shawn surprised me with a very romantic weekend in Niagara. We had a ride on a horse drawn carriage, a couples massage and an exquisite meal paired with wine at Peller Estates Winery. I thought for sure, ‘This is it!’, but he didn’t propose, he tried to throw me off with what seemed like an obvious proposal. When the weekend was over and we went home to our condo, I unexpectedly stepped into a room filled with roses, champagne, chocolate, and the song ‘Marry You’ by Bruno Mars blasting. It was amazing.
